What do you love about Grace and St. Stephen’s?
I was raised in a Pentecostal Church, and when I came here it was so very different. In no time, though, it felt like home—as so many people welcomed me, and helped me on my path to becoming an Episcopalian.
How are you involved in the life of Grace and St. Stephen’s?
I just completed the Faith-Seeking Journey and will be serving as a greeter on Sunday mornings
Is there a passage or image in scripture that carries special meaning for you?
For a long time, doctors told me that I had multiple sclerosis and I agonized over what to do, how to deal with it. In that time, I found great comfort from the Book of Jeremiah 32:27: "I am the Lord, the God of the whole human race. Is anything too hard for me?" I’ve prayed and today am symptom-free.

I read a lot and love to study new languages.

What is something about you that most people don’t know?
I helped write a mystery thriller book and it was dedicated to me.
