- About Us
The ministry of outreach—heeding God’s call to serve our community and the world—is central to our vitality and health as the Body of Christ. Christ’s command to care for the least among us is not the only reason for our care and acts of faith: We are promised new life when we give of ourselves by following Christ and participating in the kingdom of God by breaking out among us and in our lives.
Love God and Neighbor. Live fully.
Join us in working, praying, and giving to spread the kingdom of God. Your time, your prayers and your gifts are all needed as we strive to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world.
This fall, as an extension of the work we've done to define what it means to be a downtown church, the outreach committee invites you to join us for any and all of these opportunities to support and grow in awareness of the needs of the people who are homeless, jobless or hungry. The outreach committee meets on the second Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Zimmerman room on the second floor of the education wing. All are welcome.
Serve our Family
As God has comforted us, so we too provide comfort and assistance to the members of Grace and St. Stephen’s who need help as a result of a significant life occurrence, such as a birth, operation, death, divorce, or an on-going illness. This assistance can take a variety of forms—from a meal, a prayer, a hospital visit, or a visit from lay Eucharist visitors, to a kind word or a listening ear. More
Serve our Neighbors
Working with each other and organizations committed to ending homelessness, hunger and the challenges faced by at-risk youth, we serve our community and our neighbors in many ways. More
